Paperwork can be a nightmare. Does PWC help? |
| |
Our entire staff is knowledgeable and PWC handles all the necessary forms for the patient. Medicare may cover up to 80% of the cost for covered persons. Check Medicare and Other Insurance for more information. If you have supplemental insurance or HMO/PPO membership, it may cover the remaining 20%. The result: little or no out-of-pocket expense for qualifying patients. PWC has other attractive financing options when insurance coverage is limited or unavailable. |

What are the key safety features of powered wheelchairs and scooters? |
| |
Today's powered wheelchairs and scooters are engineered for comfort, convenience and safety. Power chairs feature a six-wheeled design that pro- vides stability and prevents tipping. A variety of accessories are available to allow patients to operate our chairs with "one thumb" or even by mouth. Batteries for the equipment operate on regular house current and recharge overnight. Replacement batteries are easy to install. |
 |
What about range and maneuverability? |
| |
An overnight recharge primes our wheelchairs and scooters for a range up to 25 miles. Speed is a comfortable 4-5 mph, with turning radius of 20 inches or less for many wheelchair models. Visit wheelchairs and scooters for more details. |
 |
What about delivery and service? |
